Providing traditional, dignified funeral services to the St. Louis Jewish Community has been a privilege of the Rindskopf-Roth Funeral Chapel since 1884, which is now in its fifth generation of family ownership. Family ownership means that you will receive more personalized service at a more reasonable price with more flexibility.
At Rindskopf-Roth, we understand that the loss of a loved one is never easy and our staff of compassionate professionals is here for you; to provide assistance in caring for your loved one and to help you plan services that are meaningful.
We offer a wide range of funeral services to accommodate the needs and wishes of the families we serve, including: traditional burial services, cremation, anatomical donation and advanced planning.
A traditional burial service normally includes funeral services either at the funeral home, synagogue, or cemetery of the family’s choosing; and concludes with in ground burial of the deceased. Some families may opt for above ground burial in a mausoleum.
Traditional burial is not for everyone. There are alternative services available for those that do not wish for traditional burial.
Cremation is an option and there are local Jewish Cemeteries that will allow the burial of cremated remains, if the family so desires. Cremated remains may also be placed in an urn and interred in a niche, or simply scattered.
Anatomical donation is another option. Donating one’s body to science constitutes the donation of all, or part, of a human body for the purpose of transplantation, therapy, research or education.
As with traditional burial services, cremation and anatomical donation can still offer a service of memorial that can be held at the funeral home, synagogue, or other location of the family’s choosing.
Death is never easy to think about, let alone plan for. Discussing death can be an extremely uncomfortable topic, but it is a topic that should be discussed, especially among family.
By planning your funeral services in advance, you can help relieve your family of great stress and grief. The passing of a loved one is a very difficult time; a time when people aren't thinking very clearly and may not know what to do because you never made your wishes known. Advanced planning will enable you to select the type of services, and the level of personalization that you desire, by not leaving those questions unanswered.
When done properly, advanced planning can give you peace of mind in knowing that your arrangements are ready and pre-funded.
